This is my third year spending part of the winter at the Englewood Bay Motel and Apartments. It is a funky little old Florida motel that was recently renovated. Everything is new and clean. The kitchen is well stocked, there are new, easy-open windows, new comfortable furniture, etc. Bright and cheery inside and out. The owner and the Office Manager are both friendly and helpful. Just a quick call or email gets an immediate response. Convenient to beautiful Manasota Key and Englewood Beach. Highly recommended.
I stayed at the Englewood Bay Motel this past April and had a great time. I ended up forgetting my charger and the lady I dealt with mailed it to me free of charge. You don't find people like this every day. Very caring person in charge of this motel. Very fast and courteous responses.
Even with the pandemic the motel was clean. It’s exactly like it shows in the pictures. It’s also in a quiet safe neighborhood. The only thing I would request is that they leave an extra set of sheets or even just a blanket in the room. Other than that you have everything that you need: soap, towels, full kitchen, bed, couch, TV, And small kitchen table. One other thing, even though the AC was on 71° it didn’t seem to work properly. I don’t like it cold anyway, but I did want to share that. It was comfortable. I was in room 105. I stay for one night with my friend. We were just looking for an inexpensive place to stay while we go beach hopping. This motel was perfect. Better than what I expected it to be. I would stay here again.
My wife and I stayed there this winter February 2016. They have new owners and had just opened after completing some of the planned renovations. The owner, Nina and her manager, were both great and responded quickly to a couple of minor issues. The unit was freshly painted with mostly new furniture. We were very happy withe the two bedroom unit we rented. During the month we were there, they were continuing working on some of the units and well and the courtyard. The parking lot was resurfaced, the lawn was all sodded, and two pergola's were built in the yard. The contractors they used, painters, plumbers, and carpenters were all professional and courteous. It is difficult to find a place to rent for less than three months. This is one of the only places that will allow you to do so. That, in combination with the convenient location, price, and reasons mentioned above are the reasons I highly recommend Englewood Bay. Ron Jones
I absolutely love this place! It's just a few minutes away from one of the best shelling beaches in Florida. Great rates and nice clean beautifully decorated rooms. I highly recommend staying here.
Very clean and comfortable motel. Staff was very friendly. Nice sitting area in courtyard with gas grill and utensils. Very family oriented. Will return and highly recommend this quaint place.
Hotel was really nice. We had good satellite service, clean, quiet. Right down the road from the beach and some good food. Would definitly recommend!
Rooms had everything that I could possibly need. Jennifer was the person that worked with me and always had a smile and an answer. Definitely recommend staying here. I will again every time. Best in Englewood!
